On August 19th, 2023 a wedding unfolded as vibrant and lively as the culture that inspired it. Upon arriving to the venue after a church ceremony, guests hopped into our cart for a ride up to the lawn. They were greeted with a mariachi band, snacks and lawn games and Tap Truck Monterey serving cold beers right out of the side of their turquoise classic pickup truck. Later, guests went back down the hill for dinner and dancing. As they entered the bamboo courtyard, they walked under an arch of roses and were greeted by rustling papel picado garlands, colorful terracotta vases and floral arrangements and ice cold Jarritos bottles sweating in the sun.
No celebration is complete without a feast, and this wedding was no exception. From savory tacos to sweet churros, to spicy Tapatio sauce and classic Mexican candies the bamboo garden transformed into a culinary haven and no guest was left wanting.
As the night went on guests moved inside and onto the band floor to dance away the rest of the night to the Banda. Rosa and Lalo truly thought about every detail for their wedding and spared no expense to make sure their guests were comfortable and taken care of and it showed. This day was perfect on so many levels. Congratulations Rosa and Lalo on the love of a lifetime and a huge thank you to the dream team of vendors who pulled off this 300 person extravaganza.
